Getting Results Through Speaking and Listening

Swiss Consulting Group is proud to offer this workshop in a New Paradigm in Communication available for people, organizations, companies and individual entrepreneurs.  This workshop is for those people who see themselves as leaders in their families and/or industry and a part of the revolution in Speaking and Listening.

Listening:  It is rare to find any courses on listening today.  Even in communication workshops, emphasis is given on improving one’s speaking.  Although listening is the silent partner in communication, it is often taken for granted. As your ability to listen moves toward the peak of mastery, it will yield powerful results for you, your team and your life.

Ignoring: This is ground zero, the absence of listening.  Ignoring includes interrupting the speaker, fidgeting with your pencil or your mouse as someone speaks to you, or crowding out the speaker’s words with internal chatter.  Ignoring is often a way to exert power over someone, wittingly or unwittingly.

Pretending: This is appearing to listen when you really don’t. It is ignoring with the added dimension of hypocrisy

Projecting: Responding to your own interpretation of what’s said, rather than what the speaker is actually saying.
